Indian security response of Mumbai attacks
The Indian forces response started a counter-terrorism operation that is named as Operation Black Tornado. In this operation, the security forces involved Mumbai police, marines, commandos, National Security Guard and Indian Army.
So, in this operation, up to March 29, November 1, 2008, all the results killed. Ajmal Kasab, the only attacker, arrested. The most interesting thing of this Mumbai attack is that one of the terrorists named Ajmal Kasab was arrested alive. His name was Ajmal Amir Kasab. He was arrested during a gunfight with the police.
He was presented later on in Indian court and sentenced to death in 2010 and executed in 2012.
