Good governance in Pakistan. Good governance in Pakistan is a dilemma. Good governance refers to the management of the affairs of the government and civil affairs in a transparent and in good manner. Whereas currently the situation of governance is very bad. There is a wide spread corruption, malpractices, and embezzlement in government sector as well as in the matter of government.
Therefore, the good governance has always remained a dream for the people of Pakistan. There are lots of factors that are responsible for the bad governance in Pakistan. First of all, the election system is very bad. There is no transparency in election system. Moreover, there is corruption and malpractices in the process of election and selection of the candidates for the national assembly as well as for the provincial assembly. In this way, the political representations of the people are not the true representatives.
Therefore, they do not care about the interest of the people in the coming years. In this way, the bad selection process or corruption in election commission of Pakistan during the election process is one of the main reasons that is contributing towards the bad governance in Pakistan.
