Rathoa Haryam Bridge Mirpure Opening

Rathoa Hariyam Bridge is a major infrastructure project in Azad Kashmir. This is a bridge on the Mangla Dam Reservoir located between Islamgarh and Mirpur, Azad Kashmir. Mirpur is the biggest city of Azad Kashmir and this Rathoa Hariyam Bridge is a short way between Islamgarh and Mirpur, Azad Kashmir. The project was initially under the WAPDA uprating project of Mangla Reservoir and it was started in year 2026. So now in year 2026, the bridge has been completed in March 2026.

Rathoa Haryam Bridge

The Ratoharam Bridge is a link between the two areas of Islamabad and Mirpur that are Rathowa and Harayam. The Ratoharam Bridge is almost 3 km long and it was originally started during the upraising process of Mangla Dam in 2006, but unfortunately due to the scarcity of funds and indifference of political leadership, the project could not complete in time. Now after almost 20 years, the bridge has been completed, but still it is under process. There is a lot to do, the safety wall on the bridge, the carpet road and many other small works of bridge like lighting and our harling is under process. The Mangla Dam upraising project, the Ratoharam long bridge is a triple agreement between government of Pakistan, government of Azad Kashmir and Water and Power Development Authority, WPA.

Opening of Ratoharam Bridge

The opening ceremony of Ratoharam Bridge according to the social media news will be in 23rd, 14th of August 2026. This is not the authentic or official news, but the news is circulating on social media. Now there is very little work to be completed on this bridge, therefore there are chances that the opening ceremony will be conducted very soon.
