Azad Kashmir flag is a special flag that is design by the authorities of AJK. This flag of Azad Kashmir represents the state of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Moreover, this official flag of state of Jammu and Kashmir is adopted 24th of September 1975. The state president Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan passed a special AJK state flag ordinance to adopt this Kashmir flag.
Moreover, the four white stripes symbolize the main rivers of the state of Kashmir. For instance, the Indus (National River of Pakistan), the Jhelum, Chenab, and Ravi. It also represents the five geographic divisions of the Disputed territory, namely, Baltistan, Gilgit, Jammu, the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh.
