Federal Public Service Commission is the constitutional body of federal government. It is responsible for recruiting the aspirants for different government ministries and departments. Federal Public Service Commission is established in the year 1947 after the independence. The working of FPSC is under the Article 242 of the Constitution of Pakistan 1973.

FPSC follows quota system. According to the quota system, there is a special quota for each province, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Islamabad, AJK, minorities quota, and merit-based.

FPSC is a federal government top-level agency. Its primary responsibility is to recruit the government servant in various departments after a due verified process. KFC also recruits the top-level bureaucratic posts.
