The military crisis, especially the closure of Strait of Hormuz, is reshaping the global security in 2026. This is because majority of the Asian states as well as Asian and African states are dependent on the resources that are exported from the Middle East states, that is from the Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Iran.
So due to the current situation of war between Iran and the United States of America, the movement of oil tankers in open ocean is almost closed. There is total blockage of Strait of Hormuz by Iran.
On the other side, the United States naval forces have also blocked the outer side of the Strait of Hormuz. In this situation, there is a complete deadlock situation in Strait of Hormuz area, which is affecting the global supply of oil and gas to the rest of the world. In this scenario, the world states and their leaders are thinking about the alternate source of energy in the future.
Global Economic Crisis
The situation in the Strait of Hormuz is creating a global economic crisis for many states. Developing nations like Pakistan, India, China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh are mostly dependent on the oil and gas that are exported from the Middle East. Therefore, due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz for the last two months, the energy prices in these states are very high. This is resulting in the serious energy crisis and economic problems for these countries.
New World Order and Military Blocs
The current war between Iran, Israel and the US has resulted in the formation of new military blocs, changing of strategic interest, as well as new alignment of world states. At this time, actually, European world has not supported much to the United States. Similarly, the NATO forces have also not fully supported the United States army. In this situation, the world has seen a new world order. More world is tied. Iran has got the united support from China. Morally, similarly, Russia has also openly supported the point of view of Iran.
